Simran Jeet Singh is an American educator, writer and activist. He is a professor at the historic Union Theological Seminary and national bestselling author of The Light We Give: How Sikh Wisdom Can Transform Your Life.
Creating a digital presence for a public figure always comes with a unique set of challenges. In Simran’s case, we were simultaneously preparing for the launch of his debut book The Light We Give while also building a long-term platform to support his growing Substack, podcast, and keynote work.
We needed to elevate Simran as a thought leader while making his content effortlessly accessible to new and existing audiences. The website had to serve many purposes—highlighting timely content and announcements, while also anchoring his broader brand identity.
One of the key goals of the project was to establish a strong sense of continuity between Simran’s voice-driven work—his podcast, writing, and keynote speaking—and the digital experience of his website.
The homepage was designed to scroll naturally into content-rich sections, with clear visual hierarchy and intentional storytelling.
Every section was crafted to feel like an invitation, making it easy for visitors to find their way into Simran’s work, no matter where they were starting.
This cohesion helped build a platform that feels both personal and professional.
The image treatments developed for Simran’s website have become central to his brand. Originally created to match the tone of The Light We Give, these visuals now extend across his podcast, events, and Substack. They balance warmth with professionalism, ensuring a consistent and recognizable presence.
